SCL Reunite

Hi Folks,

If you haven’t signed up for Go Week already, it’s not too late. Do it before the registration cost goes up again!

Whether you can make it to Go Week or not, please consider joining us for SCL Reunite.

It may mean coming back to Tallahassee a little earlier than you normally would, but if you really want to see God work in your life and you really want God to be used by you alongside the rest of the SCL family in the Fall, I believe being part of Reunite this year can have a big positive impact in that direction.

Here’s a few reasons to come to SCL Reunite:

Reason #1: Praying together

There are several things that personally motivate me to want to pray together with you. First, I see the disciples in Acts did it, and they did it a lot. When I see the people that Jesus built into for a few years doing something, that speaks volumes to me. Secondly, with Go Week and with a new school year, we are effectively embarking on a new endeavor. When starting something new for God, it is always a good time to seek God to come through at the beginning. We will labor, but God will give the growth. Finally, I believe God will use it to grow us together. Let’s face it, we’re all coming from different places this summer and getting thrown together and sent on mission. I’m trusting God will use our time praying together to align our hearts in one direction.

And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to the prayers.
Acts 2:42

Reason #2: Catching up

Once Go Week and the semester gets rolling, catching up is something that will be very difficult to do. But it’s valuable. At Reunite, we’ll have time to hear about what has happened in our friends’ lives this summer. We’ll be able to celebrate the cool things God has done during the summer.

Reason #3: Equipping

Faith and effort are critical things. Skill goes a long way too. Students in the past who had gone through Go Week without any equipping and then again with equipping shared that it really did make a tremendous difference for them. We’ll go through practicals of how to make the most of Go Week and the things that follow in the Fall semester. We’re doing things different this year. Get ready to be a valuable part of it!

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
– Jesus, Matthew 28:19-20

I hope you can make it!

Grace and peace,
